(1) College offers BFA Course of studies Under Gauhati University:

The college of Art offers Five (2+2+1) years integrated Course of training in the subjects of Art, leading to a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree. The first 2 years of the course comprises of the Preparatory Course while the later 3 years (Part- I & Part- II) offers Specialization in any one of the following subject:
     1) Painting
     2) Applied Art
     3) Sculpture
     4) Graphic Art
All these subjects along with Language subjects (MIL/ Eng), and Crafts are compulsory at Preparatory level. The subject of History of Art is compulsory subject from 1st to 5th year class.
